LIBARY RULES

Goal

Guide the shared sphere out of the central fountain and into your own study room entrance — the gold ring on your edge of the board.

Preparation

The board is a 7×7 grid of cells. A single sphere begins on the fountain at the exact center. Every other cell starts empty.

Each player is assigned one study room entrance on the rim of the board: in a 2-player game they sit opposite each other (top-center and bottom-center); in a 4-player game the two remaining entrances sit at the left-center and right-center edges.

There is one sphere, and it is shared by everyone. You do not own it — you only ever push it toward your own entrance.

Pieces

Plates are walkable floor tiles laid onto cells. The sphere can only roll across cells that hold a plate (or the fountain). Plates carry your color, but any plate is walkable by the sphere no matter who placed it.

Walls are barriers laid on the grid-gap lines between cells. Walls block the sphere's movement and can later be pushed or toppled.

Gameplay

On your turn, choose one action: Lay Plate, Lay Wall, Push Wall, Topple Wall, or Push Sphere.

Lay Plate

Tap any empty cell to place a walkable plate in your color. If the plate lands directly next to the sphere (up, down, left, or right), the sphere immediately rolls onto it and keeps sliding across any connected run of plates until it is blocked.

Lay Wall

Tap any empty gap line between cells to place a wall. Walls stop the sphere dead when it tries to cross them.

Push Wall

Tap one of your own walls to select it, then tap an adjacent gap to shove it one step in that direction. A connected line of walls slides together as one. A push is blocked by the edge of the board.

Topple Wall

Tap one of your own walls to select it, then tap an adjacent cell to knock it flat. Each toppled wall in the chain collapses into a walkable plate of your color on the cell it falls onto — overwriting any enemy plate already there. If a wall topples onto the sphere, it crushes it, and the sphere respawns back on the central fountain.

Push Sphere

Select the sphere, then tap an adjacent cell (or a direction arrow) to roll it. The sphere slides in a straight line across connected plates and stops when it meets an empty cell, a wall, or the board's edge. You may not push the sphere straight back to the cell it sat on last turn.

End

The moment the sphere comes to rest on your study room entrance, you win.
